Some slightly different flower artwork
I’ve published quite a bit of my artwork surrounding mental health and I think it’s about time that I show that I can do something else. I really love flowers, they are so beautiful and I find them more beautiful when the petals are not even and perfect. I find flowers quite a soothing thing to draw and I hope you like them too.
This rose was made using thick layers of watercolor for the red and then permanent black marker for the shadows. I have tried to give it accuracy and a feeling of the abstract simultaneously.
This flower was drawn using permanent marker but this time I used it to create lines instead of shadows. Again I tried to make it accurate and true to life while simplifying and abstracting the flower.
